Serena Williams may not be a prominent Hollywood actress (at least not yet anyway) but she’ll have a prominent role in Sunday night’s Oscars telecast.

Not only will the tennis star be a presenter for ‘A Star Is Born’ during the 91st Academy Awards, but she’ll also headline a new Nike ad that will debut during a break in the show. The powerful spot is titled “Dream Crazier” and will feature a number of female athletes who have broken barriers and blazed a path for future generations.

Among those included in the spot are the U.S. women’s national soccer team, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, former WNBA superstar Lisa Leslie, San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon and more.

You can check out the commercial below:

Williams is not only featured as one of the trailblazing athletes, but she also serves as the ad’s narrator. Her voice is the one you hear challenging some of the double standards that affect male and female athletes. Williams delivers a strong message that helps close out the ad, saying “if they want to call you crazy, fine. Show them what crazy can do.”

Who’s hosting the 2019 Oscars?

For the first time in 30 years, the Academy Awards will be held without a host. Kevin Hart was originally asked to be the show’s host but stepped down after homophobic comments he made 10 years ago resurfaced. Hart apologized for the remarks, saying he’s grown as a comedian since then.

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year, Hart said, “Now all of a sudden it’s a little darker because the conversation isn’t about me hosting the Oscars. The conversation is about Kevin Hart’s tweets from 10 years ago and homophobia. I don’t wanna step on that stage and make that night about me and my past when you have people that have worked hard to step on that stage for the first time and receive an award.”

Who’s presenting at the 2019 Oscars?

Even without a host, the Academy Awards has a star-studded lineup of presenters to announce nominees and winners on Sunday night. Presenters include Awkwafina, Daniel Craig, Tina Fey, Whoopi Goldberg, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael B. Jordan, Michael Keaton, Helen Mirren, Tyler Perry and Maya Rudolph.

What movies have the most nominations?

“The Favourite” and “Roma” tie for the most nominations, each fetching 10 nominations including best picture and best director. “A Star Is Born” and “Vice” each received eight nominations.

Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Old Trafford
Date: Sunday, 24 February, 2019
Kick-off: 2:05pm GMT, tonight
Referee: Michael Oliver

Liverpool sit second behind Manchester City on goal difference, but still hold their title fate in their hands by virtue of having a game in hand over the champions.

However, with Man City facing Chelsea in the EFL Cup Final on Sunday, Liverpool’s game in hand also falls on the same day – and Jurgen Klopp’s side face a daunting trip to Old Trafford.

While United trail Liverpool by 14 points in the table, the standings do not tell the whole story. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has won eight of his first nine League games as interim manager to make the Red Devils the top flight’s in-form side, while Liverpool are still to find their top form in 2019.

Win at Old Trafford, and Liverpool would go three points clear with a huge confidence boost for the run-in. Lose, and it could well be a result Klopp and his men look back on as the turning point in the title race.

It’s worth remembering for a moment that Paul Pogba was an unused substitute when Manchester United last faced rivals Liverpool, writes James Robson.

The World Cup winner and one-time most expensive footballer on the planet was consigned to the bench during Jose Mourinho’s miserable last stand.

That decision – perhaps as much as the limp 3-1 defeat against their most hated rivals – did for the Portuguese.
Within 24 hours, following conference calls between Ed Woodward and the Glazers on giant video screens at Carrington, the decision was made to pull the plug on Mourinho’s reign – no matter the cost.
United ultimately paid just shy of £20million to cut ties with him and his backroom staff. But in the space of two months Pogba’s own value, even by conservative estimation, will have risen by double that figure at least.
Money matters to United’s American owners – and watching a man named the most marketable sportsman on earth marginalised by Mourinho was never going to go down well.
Pogba was miserable and wanted out, which United always insisted they would never countenance. But they couldn’t sit by and watch him depreciate before their eyes.
If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is to be named permanent manager at the end of the season, his role in returning Pogba to his finest form – as well as significantly increasing his market value – will be key factors.
The same can be said of his effect on Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof. But Pogba is the headline story.
He will be the first name on the team sheet when Liverpool head to Old Trafford on Sunday – the man Solskjaer has built United’s resurgence on.
And he’s been suitably rewarded with the 25-year-old scoring nine and providing six assists in United’s run of 11 wins from 13 games under their interim manager.
The Norwegian has demonstrated a lightness of touch where Pogba is concerned that Mourinho seemed unwilling or unable to do.
It’s not that Mourinho didn’t try to coax the best out of the club’s £89m record signing. He named him captain in an attempt give him added responsibility, as well as provide a youthful bridge between the management and the players.
But he promptly stripped him of those duties – infuriated by Pogba’s overindulgence in the middle of the pitch and his outspoken ways off it.
The midfielder’s demand to ‘attack, attack, attack’ ultimately proved the final straw.
When Mourinho subsequently questioned him over an Instagram post following United’s League Cup defeat to Derby in September, it only gave rise to the belief that the then-manager had lost touch with the modern generation of player.
Wi-Fi issues had meant a video of Pogba laughing in an executive box with teammates was posted belatedly. The confusion led to an unseemly altercation in front of rolling television cameras at Carrington.
There are no such issues with Solskjaer – even if he did remind Pogba of his responsibilities on social media after he posted what appeared to be a gloating response to the announcement of Mourinho’s sacking in December.
Solskjaer has indulged Pogba in a manner akin to Sir Alex Ferguson’s treatment of Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ferguson was a strict authoritarian, but appreciated certain players benefited from looser rein and the rewards on the pitch justified such an approach. Under Solskjaer, Pogba has been allowed to focus on what he does best.
The Frenchman has appreciated a tactical shift, which sees Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera feverishly carrying out defensive duties and allowing him to operate in more advanced areas.  He’s not a passenger, but it is a freer role than he was ever afforded under Mourinho.
That midfield trio has been the heartbeat of United’s spectacular turnaround. Matic looks re-energised and more of a creative influence despite providing so much cover for Pogba. Herrera meanwhile is thriving as a result of a sustained run of games.
Pogba describes him as a ‘dog’ because of his boundless energy and tenacity. The Spaniard is another whose value will have risen significantly following Solskjaer’s arrival.
United were already in talks over a new contract, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the season. But his form over the past two months has done nothing to weaken his bargaining hand, with a three-year deal on the verge of being completed.
Pogba’s red card against Paris Saint-Germain in Solskjaer’s only defeat in the job was a potentially combustible moment. But the interim manager’s decision to back him in public while having a private conversation behind the scenes was rewarded with Pogba’s man of the match performance against Chelsea on Monday when he made one and scored one in the 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.
It’s not hard to imagine Mourinho’s reaction in the same situation.
But Solskjaer is not Mourinho – and Pogba is anything but the player he was under United’s former manager.

But United have been rejuvenated by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the Red Devils having gone unbeaten in the league since Jose Mourinho’s horrific finale at Anfield back in December.

Solskjaer’s side have won against Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea under the caretaker chief, with Paul Pogba in red-hot form. and Old Trafford will be rocking today.

But the title-chasing Reds are a step up and Klopp’s men will be going all out for victory, hoping to move three points clear.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists Manchester United can never aspire to be like serial Premier League title failures Liverpool.

In a mocking attack on the Merseysiders, United’s caretaker-manager said that Anfield’s agonising 29-year wait for the championship would be unthinkable at Old Trafford.

And as the 20-time champions look to land a victory that would stop Jurgen Klopp’s team moving back above Manchester City at the top of the table, Solskjaer claimed United will never be satisfied with just finishing in the top four.

He said: “Liverpool are feeling the pressure as only five or six clubs have won the Premier League. Then again, we haven’t won it for a few years – and so we want to get back to that.”

I have so many memories of so many games at Old Trafford – yet my defining one is that they were always decided in midfield.

For all the attacking talent on show today, for all the individual brilliance, nothing will be achieved by either team unless they get a foothold in midfield.

Let’s be straight about this, Manchester United have a dodgy defence.

That’s not me being biased – six clean sheets in the league all season tells you that. It’s improved, no doubt, but there are still weaknesses.

Liverpool’s attack is their world-class strength. Again, no doubt.

Yet for Jurgen Klopp to use the forwards’ penetration and movement, that can be so devastating, he needs his midfield to provide the platform.

So even though the table tells you that my former club are individually much better this season – and man-for-man you can’t argue with that – it really doesn’t matter.

Manchester United fans are sweating over midfielder Nemanja Matic, after he was absent from the squad that arrived at the club’s pre-match base on Saturday night.Manchester United fans are sweating over midfielder Nemanja Matic, after he was absent from the squad that arrived at the club’s pre-match base on Saturday night.

The midfield anchor, a two-time Premier League winner with Chelsea before moving to Old Trafford in 2017, has recovered from a disappointing start to the season under Jose Mourinho.

Like many of his colleagues, Matic has really stepped up under Solskjaer – with the side still unbeaten in domestic football under the Norwegian.

Matic has been imperious in recent weeks, notably in Monday night’s win over his former club in the FA Cup.

But despite training on Friday, Matic was a surprise absentee on Saturday night.

And while it is no guarantee that he will be absent – Solskjaer has given no inclination either way – United fans are already worried about the possibility of going without the experienced star.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United stars checked into their team hotel ahead of the clash with Liverpool last night.

The Red Devils are aiming to continue their unbeaten start to life under Solskjaer in domestic competitions, but face their toughest task yet against the second placed Reds.

United stayed the night at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, as they do before all matches at Old Trafford.

David De Gea, Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez were all among the players who looked focused on their arrival.

But conspicuous by his absence was Nemanja Matic.

Will he be there today? Find out as we get down to all the build up from Old Trafford right here.

Man. City: This team has to be ultra confident that it will win, but it must remain composed and not assume it will just be a cakewalk. After beating Chelsea 6-0 in Premier League action on Feb. 10, all signs points to another victory. Chelsea has lost three of its last five games, while City has won four in a row with 15 goals scored and two conceded.

Chelsea: Rumors are swirling as to what’s going to happen with coach Maurizio Sarri. Is this a cup he has to win to save his job? It’s a confusing time at Stamford Bridge with the club really lacking conviction and falling into a poor run of form. A victory here would certainly buy him some time, but a blowout loss will likely have him cleaning out his desk on Monday.

City scores twice in either half, pours the pressure on the Blues and wins the title with a score of 4-1.

One of the greatest rivalries in world soccer arrives on Sunday as Manchester United hosts Liverpool in a big-time Premier League showdown. United (15-6-5) enters the game in fourth place with 51 points, looking to hold off Arsenal and Chelsea for that final Champions League spot. Meanwhile, Liverpool (20-5-1) is level on points with Manchester City with one match less. This is the chance for them to get back into first place with just a draw, while a win will put them three points clear.

Here’s how you can watch the match and what to know:

Premier League: Manchester United vs. Liverpool

Manchester United: The win over Chelsea was a great bounce-back following the loss to PSG in the Champions League. It reconfirmed the quality of this team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but now here’s a big test. As rivals, this is an opportunity for Solskjaer to make a case as to why he should get the full-time coaching job. A win here could be just the statement the higher-ups needs.

Liverpool: Liverpool has some injuries at the back and is coming off the match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. While this will be a tricky test, United is coming off an emotional 2-0 win at Chelsea on Monday. Both teams will probably feel a bit tired entering this one, and that bodes better for Liverpool due to having more depth than the Red Devils.

Man. United vs. Liverpool prediction

Both teams scoring in the first half but can only come close in the second half, settling for a 1-1 draw.

Chelsea vs Manchester City

Chelsea vs Manchester City: TV channel, live stream, squad news & Carabao Cup final preview The first major final of the season could mean the last nail in the coffin for one manager but the start of a glittering season for the other

Manchester City and Chelsea will meet in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday at Wembley, just two weeks after Pep Guardiola’s side demolished the Londoners 6-0 at the Etihad.

City are defending champions of the Carabao Cup and will be eager to haunt the Londoners once again, with star striker Sergio Aguero having scored a hat-trick during their most recent meeting in Manchester.

Maurizio Sarri’s future at Stamford Bridge has been thrown in jeopardy ever since the 6-0 Premier League thumping but revenge against Man City in the final and lifting silverware could, for the time being, secure his job.

Pedro and Davide Zappacosta are also doubts for the final, while Callum Hudson-Odoi could be handed an opportunity to start up front after his glittering form against Malmo in the Europa League.

Despite being the recipient of boos by Chelsea fans, Jorginho is expected to start in midfield with Eden Hazard and Gonzalo Higuain leading the line.

Potential Chelsea XI: Caballero; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Barkley; Willian, Higuain, Hazard.
